Jansen takes health and safety seriously but cannot guarantee a risk-free environment. You are responsible for your own safety and that of any children or guests in your care.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess your own physical ability and suitability before participating in any event or fishing session.
• Wear suitable clothing and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Supervise children at all times.
• Follow all safety instructions and signage on-site.
• Do not attend sessions if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Inform coaches or organisers of any relevant medical conditions beforehand.

Venue & Natural Environment Risks:

• Fishing venues include natural and manmade water bodies which carry inherent risks such as drowning, slipping, uneven terrain, and wildlife hazards.
• Weather conditions, water levels, and ground conditions can change rapidly. Stay alert and adapt accordingly.

4. Medical Emergencies

Jansen, staff or volunteers may assist in an emergency, but we are not medically trained professionals. You agree that:

• Participation is at your own risk.
• Jansen is not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse health outcome.
• You must seek your own medical advice before participating if you have health concerns.

5. Equipment Use

You are responsible for bringing and maintaining your own fishing equipment unless otherwise specified. Jansen is not liable for:

• Injuries caused by equipment misuse.
• Damage or theft of personal property.
• Issues arising from shared or hired equipment.

6. Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Jansen accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage suffered while on-site or participating in any of our activities, unless caused by proven negligence.
• You accept full responsibility for any injury or damage resulting from your participation, including risks associated with fishing hooks, rods, lines, bait, water bodies, and wildlife.
• You waive the right to bring any claim against Jansen or its affiliates for any incident arising from participation.

7. Supervision of Minors

Parents, guardians, or responsible adults are fully accountable for the behaviour and safety of minors they bring to any session or activity.

8. Ticketing & Bookings

• All bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
• It is your responsibility to arrive on time and be prepared.
• Rescheduling may be possible at Jansen’s discretion.
• Weather cancellations may result in credits or alternative arrangements, not guaranteed refunds.

9. Code of Conduct

All participants must:

• Respect the environment, fellow anglers, and the general public.
• Dispose of waste responsibly.
• Not engage in aggressive, disruptive, or illegal behaviour.

Jansen reserves the right to remove anyone from the session/activity for violating these terms, without refund.

10. Media & Photography

By attending, you consent to photography or video being taken for promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing beforehand.

11. Changes to Terms

Jansen reserves the right to update these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review them periodically.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the relevant UK courts.
