The Location and What to Expect

Fishing takes place on carefully selected marks along the western end of Chesil Beach, chosen based on tide, wind, and season. These spots are proven plaice producers, often overlooked or misunderstood by casual anglers. Some of these marks require a decent walk along the shingle, so a reasonable level of fitness is advisable. While the walk can be physically demanding, it gives access to quieter, more productive areas where the fish are often more willing to feed.
